Hi I’m Laura,
Would you like to give your children a balanced financial education to set them up for a financially
independent future?
The financial world is evolving and complex which is why it’s important to teach financial literacy in a
way that works. It’s my mission to empower children to make smart financial decisions and be able
to understand financial information to live a happy and independent life.
I have developed resources such as entertaining story books, combined with educational workbooks,
and practical and engaging activities. The series of children’s stories embraces a creative and fun
way to explore and share valuable messages surrounding financial habits and learning. While the
activity and workbooks incorporate real life practical scenarios that are engaging for children and
gently introduce them to real life financial decisions in a way they can relate to.
These will help guide you when challenging conversations around money arise and offer practical and interactive solutions. These resources have been developed in line with the Australian curriculum.
I look forward to being able to help students and families on this educational journey.
Laura’s financial and entrepreneurial interests can be attributed to her country background, growing
up in regional North Queensland. Being a part of a family run small business and having exposure to
primary production she has experienced firsthand how a positive, engaging and interactive
education surrounding money management can nurture confidence, financial skills for a financially
independent future.
Laura is a qualified chartered accountant and is nearing completion of her school teaching qualifications.
